Today, Virox Technologies Inc is proud to announce that amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic and working tirelessly to meet demands for our patented disinfectants, that we have achieved LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for our 65,958 square foot headquarters which includes the company's corporate offices, research & development laboratory, manufacturing and warehousing facility.

Virox Animal Health (Virox Technologies Inc.) continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) and its impact on both our end users and distribution partners. Our number one priority is to help ensure the health and safety of every person and animal affected by the current outbreak. As time is of the essence when implementing a standard infection prevention protocol during a pandemic, we have more than doubled production of our Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® disinfectants to ensure uninterrupted supply at this critical time.

The first published report evaluating AHP® in a footmat application was recently released by researchers at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The study concluded that AHP® based disinfectant footmats, effectively reduce the bacterial load on footwear in large-animal veterinary hospitals.

Virox^® Animal Health, the creators of the patented Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® (AHP®) technology announced the launch of a new high level disinfectant (HLD) - PREVENTION™ HLD8. High level disinfectants are used widely used in the Animal Health market for reprocessing semi-critical medical devices, however, many of these facilities encounter sensitivity issues with the most commonly used high level disinfectants. PREVENTION™ HLD8 will provide the animal health market with an environmentally friendly, safer and easier to use product that is non-sensitizing and has virtually no inhalation risks for staff, patients or clients..

January 15, 2016 We are proud to announce that Lucas Pantaleon, DVM, MS, DACVIM, MBA has joined the Virox Animal Health division at Virox as Senior Clinical Veterinarian advisor. In this role Dr. Pantaleon will be the "Vet Voice" of Virox Animal Health helping to build the Professional and Technical Services team as experts in infection control and biosecurity.

March 3, 2016 Virox Animal Health is proud to host Dr. Marty Becker at our booth (#1330) in the exhibit hall at the Western Veterinary Conference. Dr. Becker, author of 22 books that have sold more than 7 million copies combined, will be signing copies of his book “Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul” from noon until 1:00 p.m., courtesy of Virox Animal Health. March 31, 2016 Virox^® Animal Health announced the participation as a corporate sponsor in the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) and VetFolio supported Fear FreeSM program. Fear Free℠ aims to reduce the stress to patients and clients, and get pets back for veterinary visits by promoting a considerate approach and gentle control techniques used in calming environments. The end result of these strategies being calmer, more agreeable patients, more compliant clients, and better veterinary care.
